Carrie Lyn Butler, 35, of Bloomington, passed away at 9:05am, Thursday, August 15, 2013 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.Her funeral will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, (8-20-13) at Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington with Monsignor Gerald T. Ward officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm, Monday (8-19-13) at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Central Illinois, 423 Kays Dr, Normal, IL 61761.Carrie was born on June 1, 1978 in Normal, the daughter of Paula Marie Butler and L. Stephen Dennie.She is survived by her mother, Paula Butler, Bloomington, father, L. Stephen Dennie, Normal; three aunts, Kathryn (Rod) Phipps, Missouri, Linda Dennie, Normal and Sharon (Dan) Lukert, Bloomington; one uncle, Patrick (Tammy) Butler, Tennessee; several cousins and her beloved cat Brodie.She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Herschel and Mary Jane Butler, Kathryn Baker; two aunts, Angela Butler and Denise Butler and an uncle, Brian Butler.Carrie graduated from Bloomington High School and received her associates degree from Heartland College. She worked in replacement services for State Farm Insurance Company for 11 " years. Carrie loved country music and going to concerts with friends. She had a personality that lit up a room. She was always there for others and had the ability to make you laugh no matter the situation. She will be loved and mis sed by all those who knew her.
