Celestin Ngoma, 71, of Normal, passed away at 11:45 a.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at his home.His funeral will be at 11:30 a.m., Friday, December 9, 2016 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home with Rev. Felix Tshikaya officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington. Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m., Friday at the funeral home.Celestin was born October 22, 1945 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He married Bernice Bakunga on February 14, 1972 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.Survivors include his wife, Bernice of Normal; children, Nico Ngoma, Alain Ngoma, Felly Ngoma, Didier Ngoma, Rosette Ngoma, and Christelle Ngoma; eleven grandchildren, Ben, Bliss, Bernice, Release, Diexo, Hosanne, Noah, Naomi, Yohan, Divine, and FaithrnrnHe was preceded in death by his parents.
