Christopher Patten Riley, 32, of Bloomington, died at 1:37 a.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at his home.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded after services and an interment will be at St. Marys Cemetery, Wenona at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice. To express condolences online, please visit www.carmodyflynn.com.He was born August 9, 1982 in Terre Haute, IN, son of Thomas J. and Mary Beth Pomerenke Riley.Surviving are his mother, Mary Beth Riley, of Bloomington; his father, Tom Riley of Santa Fe, NM; his sister, Meghan (Brian) Jackson of Kirkwood, MO and nephew, Caden Jackson of Kirkwood, MO. Also surviving are several aunts and uncles including, Bob (Roger Duenas) Pomerenke of Carbondale and Judy (Art) Richard of Decatur and many cousins. Chris was a 2000 graduate of Normal Community High School and attended SIU and Rock Valley Community College.He was formerly employed at State Farm Insurance Company in Bloomington.
