Joan D. Lucas, 78, of Bloomington, died at 4:28 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.There will be no services or visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded by Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington. A private inurnment will be at Herrin Cemetery in Herrin, IL at a later date. She married James S. Lucas on February 26, 1956. rnShe is survived by her husband, Jim, of 59 years; two daughters, Susan (Dan) Greene of Bloomington and Sharon Lucas of Austin, TX along with two grandchildren, Lauren and Ryan Greene.Her parents preceded her in death.Joan attended Penn State University. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
