Joseph F. Mueller, 67, of Bloomington, died at 6:18 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013 at his home.His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 18, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bloomington. Private inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington, with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.He was born April 14, 1946 in Bloomington, the son of Harold and Naomi Pearson Mueller. He married Patricia A. Wittmuss on June 10, 1967 in Bloomington.Surviving are his wife; one son, Stephen (Amanda) Mueller of Bloomington; and a brother, Leonard (Kathy) Mueller of Hopedale.He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sally Mueller.Joe graduated from Trinity High School in 1964. He was previously employed by the GMO Railroad and retired from the McLean County Highway Department. Following retirement, he worked with the Funks Grove and Cooksville Townships. Joe was an Eagle Scout, having attained the bronze, gold and silver palms. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bloomington. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid collector of Allis Chalmer tractors and toys. Joe was also a Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed watching pro wrestling.
