Kathryn A. Kate Woith, 101, of Bloomington, passed away at 10:40 p.m., Saturday, September 23, 2017 at McLean County Nursing Home.Her funeral will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 30, 2017 at St. Marys Catholic Church, Bloomington with Rev. Joseph Baker officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2017 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington.Kate was born May 29, 1916 in Bloomington, the daughter of Joseph K. and Anna Dillinger Petri. She married Herman W. Woith on February 1, 1940 in Bloomington. He died on November 4, 1985.Survivors include two sons, Joseph (Carol) Woith of Kappa and Terry (Jan) Woith of Bloomington; a brother, John (Ann) Petri of Bloomington; six grandchildren, Joe (Pam) Woith, Sue (Scott) Blackford, Mark (Michelle) Woith, Dawn Beuford, Jamie (Todd) Wibben and Terry (Beth Reader) Woith, Jr.; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great granchild.She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Petrie and Nick Petri and an infant sister, Anna Petri.Kate was a member of Historic St. Patrick Catholic Church and the American Hungarian Family Society. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her brother and sister-in-law, John and Ann Petri.
