Kevin Anthony Martin Obituary (1994 - 2020)

Kevin Anthony Martin, 26, of Bloomington, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at his home. His funeral and visitation will be private and a private interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Normal. Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. To express condolences online, please visit www.carmodyflynn.com He was born September 7, 1994 in Oak Park, IL, son of Michael and Ewa Kudelko Martin. Surviving are his parents, Mike and Ewa Martin, Bloomington; his sister, Amanda Martin, Bloomington and his paternal grandparents, Joseph & Mary Martin of Bettendorf, IA. Also surviving are nine uncles, eight aunts and many cousins. Kevin attended Epiphany Catholic grade school and Bloomington High School. He received his Associate's Degree from Heartland Community College in 2016. He had a great interest in the culinary arts and enjoyed his work as a cook for the Unit 5 school district. Kevin enjoyed music, singing, and computers and technology. Anyone that knows Kevin knows that he had the biggest heart and was the most selfless person. His laugh was one to remember and his smile was contagious. The family will fondly remember the way that Kevin could shine a light into any room he walked into.
