Koch, 44, of Bloomington, died at 7:31 a.m. Thursday, August 08, 2013 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2013 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Normal, with Monsignor Eric S. Powell officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Normal. Visitation will be from 3- 6 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2013at Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Koch family for an education fund to be established for his children.He was born February 1, 1969 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Ronald J. and Katherine C. Culpen Koch. He married Kristine E. Quinn on August 30, 1997 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Quincy.Surviving are his wife, Kris, of Bloomington; three children, Morgan, Kyle and Lauren Koch, all at home; his mother, Kay Koch of Quincy; four siblings, Amy (Marc) Crouch of Phoenix, AZ, Adam (Danielle) Koch of Quincy, Kim (Brian) Danker of Quincy and Curtis (Valerie) Koch of Normal; his mother-in-law, Anita (Paul) Rakers of Quincy; two sisters-in-law, Karen (Mark) Cawthon and Julie (Jeff) Rupert, both of Quincy; a brother-in-law, Joe (Lisa) Quinn of Payson, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald J. Koch; his father-in-law, Joseph Quinn; two nieces and one nephew.Kevin graduated from Quincy Notre Dame High School in 1987 and earned his bachelors degree at Illinois State University in 1992. He was currently employed at both Midland Paper and Crate Pallet Packaging. Kevin was a member of Epiphany Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, could fix anything and loved his yard. He was the life of the party and was an amazing husband, father, son and brother.
