Louise P Estes Barnes, 88, of Bloomington, died at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington, with Rev. Ric Schneider officiating. Interment will at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 2-5 on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith In Action. Lou first married Harry "Bud" Estes in 1943, he preceded her in death in 1973. She then married Harry "Buck" Barnes in 1975. He survives in Bloomington.Also surviving are five sons, Randy Estes of Locust Fork, Alabama, Jerry (Carol) Estes of Portland, TN, Doug Estes of Bloomington, Pat (Stephanie) Estes of Downs and Pete (Patricia) Estes of Sarasota, FL; three step-children, Fred (Sandy) Barnes of Bloomington, Dixie (Delmar) Buss ofLawndale and Chuck (Jeanette) Branham of Bloomington; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Lou also leaves behind her special friends, Don and Joyce, Jim and Cindy, all of whom helped care for Lou and make it possible for her to stay in her home.Lou was the last surviving of 10 children, preceded by four brothers and five sisters and she was also preceded in death by one step-daughter.She retired from Chadbands Jewelry at Eastland Mall, where she worked as a sales associate for many years.Louenjoyed boating, camping and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
