Mary M. Stretch Obituary (1928 - 2019)

Mary M. Stretch, 90, formerly of Lincoln Towers, Bloomington, passed away at 5:15 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2019 at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Home, Chenoa. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Lexington Township Cemetery, Lexington. She was born September 7, 1928 in Pontiac, a daughter of Robert and Esther Lambolet Kammerman. She married Robert E. Stretch on September 15, 1951 in Bloomington. He died May 8, 1975. Surviving are a son, Michael (Hazel) Stretch of Bloomington; and a daughter, Denise Besco of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Stretch. Mary was a longtime employee of State Farm Insurance Companies, where she retired in 1991. An avid crafter, she especially enjoyed making Christmas ornaments and hand-sewn tablecloths.
