Michael J. Miller Obituary (1959 - 2014)

Michael Jerome Miller, 55, of Normal, passed away at 8:20 p.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Arbor Care in Colfax.Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with cremation services.Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice.Michael was born on June 24, 1959 in Bloomington, the son of Hugh and Mary Alice Lewis Miller.Survivors include a son, Chase Miller; five sisters, Patricia Popejoy, Linda Miller, Sue Alcorn, Tami Miller and Rhonda Miller; a brother, Brett Miller and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Al and Ace.Michael graduated from Bloomington High School. He worked for Beich Candy and was also a painter.Michael was an avid Cardinal and 49ers fan. He loved watching the Cardinals play at Busch Stadium. He also loved fishing with his son and buddies.
