Pamela Diane Deane Obituary (1949 - 2018)

Pamela Diane Deane, 68, of Bloomington, passed away at 2:10 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 1p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington. Cremation rites will be accorded after the visitation. To view the obituary online, please visit www.carmodyflynn.com. She was born February 17, 1949 in Normal, daughter of Grant W. Clem and Barbara Joanne Shepherd. She married Patrick Deane in 1969. Surviving are her children, Troy Kletz of Normal, James Deane of Orlando, FL and Jennifer Deane of Towanda and five grandchildren, Kevin Kletz, Heather Kletz, Courtney Kletz, Megan Kletz and Jacob (Brianna) Deane-Moudy. Also surviving are two brothers, Monty Tuchel of Minier and Randy Tuchel of Normal. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kevin Tuchel. Pam attended Lincoln College in Normal, where she received an associate's degree. She worked at State Farm Insurance Company for 10 years and enjoyed working as a bartender in the Bloomington-Normal area. Pam enjoyed reading, listening to music and gardening, but her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Kane.
