Patricia I. "Pat" Tucker, 62, of Normal, died at 10:47 a.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at OSF Saint Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, where visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday (9-30-2014). Entombment will immediately follow services at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Bloomington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of American or to a charity of the donors choice. She later married Robert Tucker on December 20, 1996 in Bloomington, he preceded her in death on April 29, 2010.Surviving are one son, Joe (JoAnn) Martin of Sachse, TX; two grandchildren, Jessica and Joshua Martin, both of Sachse, TX and her mother, Millie Murphy of Bloomington. Also surviving are four step-sons, John, Ron, Rob and Mike Tucker; one brother, William Murphy of Normal and one sister, Mary Murphy of Bloomington.Pat worked as a Finance Supervisor for the Town of Normal Finance Department, retiring in August of 2013 after 26 years of employment.She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and going to casinos.
