Phyllis Joy (Colvin) Rushing, 35, of Rantoul, formerly of Normal, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 at her home.There will be no services or visitation. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert; one sister, Rachel Ann Colvin and one aunt, Debbie Phillips.Surviving are her mother, Linda Joy Cross of Normal; one sister, Roberta Lynn (Merle) Steinert of Bloomington; one nephew, Levi Steinert of Bloomington and a great friend, Sue Holmes of Normal.She enjoyed her career as a CNA for Alpha Care in Champaign, where she provided home health care for the elderly and sick.Phyllis enjoyed knitting, gardening, and cooking and she had a love for her cats.
