Pinder H. "Pete" Hudson Obituary (1943 - 2020)

Pinder "Pete" H. Hudson, Jr., 76, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal, Illinois. Pete was born in Williamsburg, Virginia, the son of Pinder Harvey Hudson and Helen Deaner Hudson. He was a 1965 graduate of the University of Virginia. Pete worked at State Farm Insurance for over 30 years until his retirement in 1998. He was an avid golfer who inspired many with his skill and competitive spirit. Most importantly, Pete was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and companion and his intelligence, generosity and humor will be remembered with love. He is survived by his fiancee, Kathleen Clark of Normal, Illinois and her loving extended family; his daughter Elizabeth Hudson of Madison, Wisconsin; his son Pinder Hudson III and his wife Jill of Tallahassee, Florida; his granddaughter, Olivia, great-granddaughter, Grace and three step-grandchildren, Austin, Aidan and Caelan Connelly.
