Robert M. McDonald, 78, of Flanagan, died at 5:05 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Flanagan Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. His memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Epiphany Catholic Church in Normal, with Monsignor Eric S. Powell officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded by Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington. A private inurnment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Normal at a later date. He married Frances Marie Pizzuto on June 10, 1978 in Rock Island, IL, she preceded him in death on February 1, 2015 in Flanagan. Surviving is one daughter, Judy (Peter) Busch of Bloomington. Robert worked as a custodian for 14 years in Davenport, IA public schools before retiring.
