Robert Tod Miller Obituary (1973 - 2015)

Robert Tod Miller, 42, of New York, NY, died Monday, August 3, 2015 after a brief illness.His memorial Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Normal, with Monsignor Eric Powell officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Normal. Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, is assisting the family with arrangements.Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home for the Handicapped, 2125 Veterans Road, Morton, Illinois 61550, where his cousin Stephen is a resident.Robert was born March 26, 1973 in San Jose, CA, the son of Charlotte Miller of Bloomington and Dr. Timothy Tod Miller of Indian Head Park. He married Melissa Mack in 2009.He is survived by his wife, parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Virginia Miller of Bloomington and Robert and Dorothy Poorman of Bloomington.Rob graduated from Christ Lutheran School in Little Rock, Little Rock Catholic High School for Boys, Illinois Wesleyan University (B.A. in Economics), and Illinois State University (M.A. in Political Science). He was a captain in the United States Army Reserves, serving in Hungary during the Bosnian Conflict.
