Ronald R. "Ron" Brandt, 71, of Normal, died at 5:30 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Heritage Health in Bloomington.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Calvary United Methodist Church in Normal. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Carmody-Flynn Willliamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington. Cremation rites will be accorded after services. Inurnment will be held at Arlington Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Bordsen on June 17, 1967 in West Alice, WI.Surviving are his wife, Susan, of Normal and his two sons, Christopher Brandt and Erich Brandt, both of Normal.He was preceded in death by his parents.Ron was a 1965 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.He worked as an insurance underwriter, last working at Bliss McKnight, Inc, where he worked for over 20 years before retiring.Ron was a life-long Green Bay Packers football fan. He liked listening to Rock N Roll music and collecting baseball cards and records and he enjoyed spending his time with his friends from his various hobbies.
