Ryan M. Trudo Obituary (1976 - 2015)

Ryan M. Trudo, 39, of Machesney Park and formerly of Bloomington-Normal, passed away Sunday morning, December 20 at his home after a lengthy illness. His visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 30 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, 1800 Eastland Drive, Bloomington, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Private family interment will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ryan Trudo Memorial which will be used for his daughters education. Donations may be mailed to his mother, Linda Collier, in care of Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home. He was born April 26, 1976 in Bloomington, a son of Clifford K. and Linda Ludeman Trudo. Surviving are his daughters, Mia and Claire; his mother, Linda (Bill) Collier of Machesney Park; his father, Clifford (Patti) Trudo and sister, Virginia, all of Murfreesboro, TN; and brother, Adam Trudo of Chicago.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Evelyn Ludeman; and his paternal grandparents, Kip and Ruth Trudo. Ryan graduated from University High School in Normal and earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Illinois State University. He worked in sales and marketing at Rockford Ball Screw. He loved all sports and enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, soccer and tennis. Ryan was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan and was an ardent reader who especially loved the works of Walt Whitman. He was a member of Northeast Christian Church in Loves Park.
