Shane W. Binkley Obituary (1958 - 2013)

Shane W. Binkley, 55, of Carlock, died at 9:55 am, Wednesday July 31, 2013 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.His memorial service will be at 3:00 pm, Sunday August 4, 2013 at Chenoa United Methodist Church, Chenoa with Rev. Rob Roy officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm, Sunday at the church.Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.Memorials may be made to the Shane Binkley Memorial Fund.Shane was born on March 4, 1958 in Paducah, Kentucky, the son of James and Betty Timmons Binkley.He is survived by two sons, Matthew Binkley and Kyle (Crystal) Binkley, both of Chenoa; one granddaughter, Bella Binkley of Gridley; and one brother, Mike (Debra) Binkley, Benton, KY.He was preceded in death by his parents James and Betty Timmons Binkley and his grandmother Alta Timmons of Benton Kentucky.Shane graduated from Marshall County High School in 1976 and moved to Chenoa IL in 1980. He worked at Union Roofing Company in Chenoa for almost 20 years and was later a cook at Applebees in Bloomington.Shane was a Chenoa Youth Sports Coach and had been active in the Chenoa United Methodist Church.
