Stephen L. Stolarick, 73, of Normal, died at 8:10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, with Rev. Neri Greskoviak officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. He married Carolyn Ruth Koy on August 22, 1964.Surviving are his wife, Carolyn, of Chenoa; his children, Kevin Michael Stolarick, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Beth Anne Stolarick, Charlotte, NC and Stephen Karl (Lara Leaf) Stolarick, Chicago; three grandchildren, Henk Owen Stolarick, Stuart Emmet Leaf Stolarick and Fiona Vivianne Leaf Stolarick and one brother, Daniel PZ Stolarick, Gurnee.He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David and Donny Stolarick.Stephen worked for over 35 years for Sears, Roebuck and Co. managing stores and logistics at locations in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing Cribbage and was a Green Bay Packers fan. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and of EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association), where was particularly fond of the Warbirds. He also enjoyed home repair and renovation and was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, in both the warehouse and the ReStore. Stephen was a long-time friend of Bill W.
