Timothy R. Lancaster Obituary (1976 - 2017)

Timothy R. Lancaster, 40, of Bloomington, passed away on Wednesday, August. 2, 2017 at his home. His funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, where a visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday. Interment will be at Minier Cemetery, Minier at 3 p.m. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jenny Kerfoot-Lancaster for his daughters, Mackenzie and Kinley. He was born November 27, 1976 in Minier, son of David W. and Doris M. Crawford Lancaster. He married Jennifer L. Kerfoot on October 11, 2012. Surviving are his wife, Jenny Kerfoot-Lancaster; his daughters, Mackenzie Nicole (12) and Kinley Rae (8); his father, David (Linda) Lancaster and his mother, Doris (Larry) Johnson, all of Bloomington. Also surviving are his brother, Scott (Melanie) Lancaster of Bradenton, FL; paternal grandmother, Betty Lancaster of Hopedale; maternal grandparents, Walter and Thelma Crawford of Minier; two nieces, Lauren Avery Lancaster and two nephews, Jack Spencer Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Milberne Lancaster. Tim was a 1995 graduate of Normal Community High School and continued his education at Illinois Central College (ICC) in East Peoria, where he received his certification in HVAC. He worked at Bratchers Heating Cooling and for the last 6 years he worked at Coastal Cool Refrigerated Inc. in Jacksonville, FL. Tim enjoyed spending his free time at the Lake of the Ozarks, boating, and snowmobiling in Wisconsin, but his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his daughters. He will be remembered by his family and friends for being adventurous and his "Need for Speed."
