Vendetta Shawn Franklin Obituary (1979 - 2020)

Vendetta Shawn Franklin, 40, of Normal, passed away Monday, February 3 at her home. Her funeral will be at Noon, Monday, February 10 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington with Rev. Sara Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.-Noon, Monday at the funeral home. Born September 23, 1979 in Chicago, she married Ronnie Creed on April 24, 2009. He survives. Also surviving is her mother, Brenda Franklin of Decatur; her father, Eugene Willis of Galesburg; three children, Antonio Davis, Shondrea Franklin and Shontel Creed, all of Bloomington; three sisters, Shawonda (Kenneth) Ingram of Snellville, GA, Latoya Franklin of Decatur, Tacarra Franklin of Jacksonville and a brother, Wesley Franklin of Springfield; and many nieces and nephews. Vendetta worked for Estes Express Lines and Burger King. She was a kind soul and always willing to help others. Vendetta was well loved and respected by those that knew her. She was a loving wife and mother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
